Where do you live?

I live in a Tiny 100+ year old apartment in the Upper Midwest. Right on the border of North Dakota/Minnesota, but you can also catch me traveling! It’s one of my favorite things!

Who is Max?

Max, Maxim.. my Son, Is my very dedicated Apprentice, Kitchen Assistant, and Best Friend, he’s a 5-year-old English Cream Retriever.

What do you film on?

I film on an iPhone 13 Pro (I like em big because I have sausage fingers) and when I’m doing “profesh” photography, a Canon Powershot SX70, No I don’t Edit or filter any of my videos or photography, what you see is what you get!

Where did you learn to cook?

I am not professionally trained in the literal sense. I learned how to cook from the strong women in my life, my grandparents and my wonderful mother! They shared how to cook yummy things and how to bring people together through food. I didn’t drink or do anything in high school because I was busy being a goodie to shoes and I always had incredible parents who had the “cool house that always had food” so I always wanted to hang out with my friends and I would cook for them when they were hungover because I loved nourishing them back to health like a little baby bird. not literally but you get it.

What’s your favorite thing to cook?

It’s not a matter of what, it’s a matter of when! It depends on my mood and cravings, from a silky smooth Pasta, Spicy Noodles, and a Pretty and Chocolatey Dessert. it doesn’t take much for a Cheesy looking Burger or even just ordering takeout; because I don’t want to get off the couch! There’s no stigma here!
