Whats for Dinner? Vibes brought to you by Adam & Mary’s Pasta Bake! A dish inspired by some people i love to cook for! Enjoy!

Total:45 minutes Prep:10-15 minutes

Ingredients:

2 tsp Olive Oil

1lb dried Pasta such as spaghetti or long noodley-like!

1lb ground protein of choice (beef, chicken, alternative)

1 Shallot, finely chopped

3-4 cloves garlic,minced

Salt and pepper to taste (friendly reminder, don’t forget to salt your pasta water)

2 tsp Italian seasoning

2 tsp Onion powder

2 tsp Garlic powder

1-2 tsp Red pepper flakes (if you like some spice in yo life)

4 tbsp Butter

1/2c Parmesan( Fresh is best, but use what you got!)

1 small wheel of Boursin (any flavor)

1 handful of Cherry tomatoes

1 24oz jar Tomato sauce (I like Raos)

A ball.. or 2 of fresh Mozzerella or burrata

Optional but recommended topping, freshly chopped Basil and parsley

Begin by preparing the pasta to package instructions, To a large pan over medium heat, (if using a low fat protein add some oil), add the ground beef, Shallot, garlic, salt and pepper, cook until the meat is starting to brown, season with italian seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. cook until brown, about 8-10 minutes. Add the tomatoes to start cooking, when those are ready to burst, add the tomato sauce and mix. In the meantime,

When the pasta is cooked, drain the water, add the pasta back to the pot, add the butter, boursin and parmesan, mix until the pasta is well coated in the cheesy sauce. Set aside for assembly. Set the oven to 350.

For assembly, grab a Casserole dish then begin by ladeling in some of the meat sauce as the bottom layer, add half of the pasta as the second layer, you can add cheese for the next layer if youd like, followed by another layer of the repeated process (sauce and pasta). Make the last layer the meatsauce, then top with some fresh cheese. Bake for about 35-40 minutes until perfectly melty and signs of golden brown. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh herbs if using. Serve and enjoy!
